Par for the course of HMG, we try to start talking about the game but then move on to other things. If you’re interested in the DLC because you enjoyed the game, it’s worth getting. It’s simply more of the game added on, and you can either play it post game or during an initial run/new game+.
Ignore Battlefront II, just play the first one some more.
Star Wars Battlefront II is making it’s way to shelves whether you like it or not. But if it sucks, why not just keep playing the first one instead. The first one doesn’t have loot boxes and has a great player base.
Quit bitching about the microtransactions, seriously.
Hard Mode Gamers is proud to say that during the course of reviewing the game, we did not spend one red cent on the loot boxes. Our reviewer had an absolute blast with the game and has it well on its way to getting a coveted 10/10 from our harsh review standards. Either way, it’s a good game, microtransactions be damned!
What’s your favorite adaptation of Middle Earth Tolkien tales?
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is definitely… a fighting game released in a year that is rich with fighting games. The list of games goes on and on and we could name them all but that’s no what we are here for. No, we are here to talk about what you can expect from this game and our guesses as to what they are doing for DLC.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a standalone expansion that has no business charging $30 for the amount of content it has nor lore to offer. It streamlined the gameplay to an amazing degree but with a bad story, lackluster level design graphically and stylistically, not to mention not particularly wrong, this feels a lot more like a cash grab from Bethesda/Zenimax than an earnest attempt at a sendoff for the series.
There’s been more than a dozen games featuring those wascally wabbids and none of them are particularly that great. Just a lot of dopey nonsense aimed at kids. So, what makes this game so special? Well, for starters, Mario. He makes everything better. Secondly, this game as a game is F*CKING SPECTACULAR.
This video was recorded before our review but you can now read it here. And for details on the pixel pack defense, go here.
Nostalgia will continue to keep selling and selling and selling until we finally tell it to stop. Hard Mode Gamers got a chance to play the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and feel strongs feelings about it.
Johnny the Slayer vs Wayne the Button Masher (Also Chet is Here)
Vega and Wayne (and also Kurt) were all too happy to get a copy of #Injustice2 and we are super enthused to give you our first ever Let’s Play vid, only we called it Let’s Fight. And fight we did indeed, check out Part 1 above and tell us what you think.
Vega starts off with a good rant about Batman’s overexposure. I mean, this is all of the DC Universe yet you have like 6 Arkham Asylum character and Jared Leto Joker. Wayne is determined to defeat Vega in the ultimate showdown. Kurt sucks at fighting games tho, let’s be honest. Welp, enjoy watching us play Injustice 2 some more.
